As part of their coursework, Trail End's TechnoPast students created a video showing 1920s fashions and how you can create your own Murder Mystery look:

Murder at the Mansion

SPONSORED BY THE Trail End Guilds Inc, "Murder at the Mansion" is a 1920s-inspired murder mystery in which EVERYONE has a part.

There are all sorts of characters: society ladies, actresses, flappers, waitresses, reporters, millionaires, mobsters, police officers, politicians and more. When you purchase your tickets, you'll have the opportunity to pick the type of character you want - making it easy to dress for the part (costumes are not mandatory, but are strongly encouraged)!

You'll receive character notes at the time you purchase your ticket (please read them in advance). When you get to the party, you'll be given additional information about what you need to discover about your fellow party-goers over appetizers (included) and cocktails (cash bar). Halfway through the evening, SOMETHING will happen that will change the course of events - at which time new questions will need to be asked.

Even though this is a party and not a performance (there is no script), each part is vital. If you can't make it to the party, please let us know as soon as possible! After all - you might be the murderer or the victim (you won't know that part in advance)!

Because alcohol is being served, this is a 21-and-over event.

Tickets are $45 each, or two for $80. They are on sale at the Kendrick Mansion, located at the Trail End State Historic Site, 400 Clarendon Avenue in Sheridan. Cash, credit cards and checks will be accepted (checks must be made out to the Trail End Guilds and a drivers license must be shown).
